(Richmond)- Dominion Energy wants to reduce carbon emissions to net zero by 2050. The Virginia-based utility says the plan will involve natural gas, reducing emissions, plus off-setting everything else with planting trees and technology. Dominion is also planning to capture methane in renewable energy gas projects. Utility officials say they want to keep being a leader in the fight against climate change.
