(Hanover)- Some residents in Hanover County are being threatened with a jury duty scam. Scammers are calling people to tell them there is a warrant for their arrest for missing jury duty. The victims are then asked to make a payment. Hanover sheriff’s officials remind everyone they don’t collect money over the phone.
