(Petersburg)- Virginia Union University is offering a holiday surprise to over 100 students. The school announced on Christmas Day that it is giving those select few a combined 250-thousand-dollars in scholarship money. The Virginia Union president said announcing the awards on Christmas is the university’s gift to the students and their families. Alumni, donors and corporate partners made the scholarships possible.
