(DC)- Hospital officials say an increase in flu cases have triggered a precautionary policy at Children’s National Hospital in DC. The hospital is discouraging staff and visitors who are having any kind of flu symptoms or fever from visiting. Last week, Children’s saw a drastic increase in flu and respiratory viruses. You can prevent germs by staying home if you’re sick, remaining isolated when you have a fever, coughing into a tissue or your elbow, and washing your hands frequently.
