(Matthews County)- The Matthews County Sheriff’s Office says a man they’ve been looking for was arrested in La Plata, Maryland. “Billy” Hooper Jr. was charged as a fugitive in Maryland and faces charges of human trafficking, child porn and solicitation of prostitution of a minor under 16-years-old upon being extradited back to Virginia. Last week, a search warrant issued for Hooper’s residence and yacht discovered graphic evidence linking him underage girls. Hooper is expected to be extradited back to Virginia soon where he already has outstanding warrants. The sheriff’s office says calls, messages and social media posts helped lead to Hooper’s arrest.
