Hanover School Board Takes No Action On NAACP Suit

(Hanover)-   There’s no resolution yet in a lawsuit filed over two schools named after Confederate generals in Hanover County. The NAACP is seeking to have the names of Lee Davis High School and Stonewall Jackson Middle School changed because it says they violate the rights of African-American students. The school board discussed a possible in executive session on Friday, but decided not the take any action. The board already decided last year to keep the names the same.
