(Maryland)- Maryland is only one of two states where the flu virus is widespread. According to state health officials, there have been 230 flu cases so far this season, with one adult fatality. Virginia has had 29 confirmed cases and D.C. has had 24. Louisiana is the other state with widespread flu.
