(Woodbridge)- A mother and daughter who were stabbed in northern Virginia Friday night are expected to pull through. A Prince William County police officer responded to the bloody scene at the Dominion Middle Ridge apartments in Woodbridge, where he allegedly witnessed the suspect beating an eight-year-old girl. Both the girl and her mother were taken to the hospital with life-threatening stabbing injuries, but investigators said yesterday the pair should survive. The suspect was arrested.
