Beltway Sniper Seeks New Sentencing Before Supreme Court

(DC)- The Beltway sniper is seeking a new sentence. Lee Malvo is serving multiple life sentences for his part in killing ten people in Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC 17 years ago. Malvo’s attorneys are scheduled to argue before the U.S. Supreme Court today for a re-sentencing due to recent rulings on juvenile sentencing. He was 17-years old at the time of the murders. Original trial attorney Craig Cooley told the Washington Post that Malvo realizes he still won’t get out of prison.
