(Alexandria)- Two local governments in northern Virginia are discussing how to manage the Amazon effect. The Arlington County Board and Alexandria City Council held a joint meeting to make sure they’re on the same page before Amazon’s arrival in Crystal City. The Alexandria Mayor says there needs to be a sense of urgency to create immediate plans. Initial priorities moving ahead are housing affordability, transportation and small business opportunities.
