(Richmond)- Dominion Energy is seeking approval for a nearly 600-million-dollar plan to upgrade the state’s electrical grid. The company filed a request with the State Corporation Commission that calls for smart meter installations across Virginia and a new online platform for customer interaction. It would cost Dominion customers just over a dollar-a-month. The commission has six months to make a decision.
