(Springfield)- A sixth-grade girl in northern Virginia is admitting she falsely accused three classmates of pinning her down and cutting her dreadlocks. The 12-year-old from Immanuel Christian School in Springfield originally claimed last week that three white boys used scissors to cut off some of her dreadlocks after they ambushed her on the playground. The girl’s family released a statement apologizing to the accused students and the school. Immanuel Christian’s principal says it will be a long season of healing.
