(Richmond)- A federal judge is upholding some of the state’s abortion laws, while striking down others.  Judge Henry Hudson ruled yesterday that a requirement to perform non-surgical second trimester abortions strictly in hospitals in unconstitutional.  A requirement that calls for only physicians to perform abortions was upheld, along with a mandate for ultrasounds before an abortion.
