World’s First Malaria Vaccine Is Being Called A Game-Changer

(Rockville, MD)- The world’s first malaria vaccine is being called a game-changer. It’s being rolled out in Kenya after previous pilot programs in Ghana and Malawi. The vaccine was developed by a Maryland biotech company which recommends administering it to infants in four doses. Malaria is a mosquito-borne disease that the WHO says kills more than 800 children a day, mostly in Africa.
