Virginia To Receive 20-Million-Dollars To Fight Opioids

(Richmond)- The Trump administration is giving Virginia over 20-million-dollars to fight opioid addiction. The number of opioid overdose-related deaths in the Commonwealth dropped from 2017 to 2018, but is on pace to go back up this year. Virginia’s share is part of a larger one-point-eight-billion-dollar nationwide initiative to help aid in improving access to treatment services.
