(Culpeper)- Virginia’s board of elections isn’t backing off a decision to keep a state delegate off the November ballot. Nick Freitas was denied by election staffers last week after they say his candidacy paperwork wasn’t filed in time. The elections board ruled again yesterday that Freitas isn’t qualified for the ballot. The Culpeper Republican said previously he would run as a write-in candidate, but he does have the option to file a lawsuit.
