(Charlottesville)- U.S. News and World Report is ranking the UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville as the state’s best hospital. The center was nationally ranked among top hospitals for ear, nose and throat treatment, along with cancer and GI care. It also listed in the top 50 in eight children’s specialties. Sentara Norfolk General and Carilion Roanoke Memorial ranked in the next two spots.
