(Cumberland County)- A Republican committee in central Virginia is passing a motion of no confidence in Congressman Denver Riggleman over a same-sex marriage.  The Republican officiated the July 14th wedding of two men who volunteered in his campaign.  The Roanoke Times says the Cumberland County Republican Committee passed the motion last night.  The move came two days after several members of the Fifth Congressional District Republican Committee tried to censure Riggleman.  The district committee’s chairman said he failed to uphold the Republican Party’s platform by officiating a same-sex wedding.
