Black Caucus Drops Out Of Jamestown Events

(Jamestown)- The Virginia Legislative Black Caucus won’t be taking part in Jamestown’s 400th anniversary celebration this week. Black lawmakers are against the appearance of President Trump, who is speaking this morning to commemorate the first legislative body meeting in America. The caucus released a statement yesterday that says Trump continues to make degrading comments toward minority leaders. The event will be attended by U.S. and state lawmakers, although Virginia’s top Democrats already said they would boycott.
