(DC)- Monday’s downpour is one of the heaviest on record in Northern Virginia and DC. In just an hour, about a month’s worth of rain fell over the DC region. About three-point-three-inches of rain was recorded in a single hour at Reagan National Airport. Three-billion gallons fell over DC. The Washington Post reports if you include all of Virginia and Maryland, nearly half a trillion gallons came down over the area.
