(Fairfax)- A self-driving shuttle is coming soon to northern Virginia. The Fairfax County Department of Transportation will kick the program into high gear today after the Commonwealth Transportation Board approves grant funding. The autonomous shuttle could start running in Fairfax between the Dunn Loring Metro and the Mosaic District as early as the end of this year. It is reportedly the first of its kind in Virginia.
