(DC)- Virginia Senator Mark Warner is calling Congress irresponsible for failing to improve election security ahead of 2020. During CBS’ Face The Nation on Sunday, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee said Congress should back bipartisan election security legislation that ensures measures such as a paper ballot trail and add further “guardrails” to social media against election interference. Warner argued the fact that it hasn’t already been passed by Congress, even after America was attacked by foreign power, shows a new height of irresponsibility.
