State Police: Most Memorial Day Traffic Deaths Were Motorcyclists

(Richmond)- More than half of Virginia traffic deaths over Memorial Day were motorcyclists.  State police say this past weekend they had eleven people die in nine crashes across the state.  Six of those killed were on motorcycles at the time.  Troopers also say they issued more than eight-thousand speeding tickets, 25-hundred reckless driving citations, and made 75 drunk driving arrests.
