(Richmond)-  The age cap for autism insurance is being lifted in Virginia on January 1st. Governor Northam signed off on legislation yesterday that removes the cutoff for autism health coverage at the age of ten and extends it to people of all ages. It affects individuals covered under state-regulated, large group plans. Northam said efforts to pass the law come after years of tireless efforts from families and advocates.
