(Richmond)- A highway named after the President of the Confederacy is going to be known as something new in Arlington. The Commonwealth Transportation Board unanimously voted yesterday to change the name of Jefferson Davis Highway to Richmond Highway. It’s already taken on the new name in Alexandria. Business owners claimed they were losing customers because of the Jefferson Davis name.
