(Fairfax)- Residents are reporting coyote attacks in parts of Northern Virginia. The wild canines have reportedly attacked and killed at least three small dogs in recent months. One family says their 12-year-old dog was attacked back in March near their home in the Lake Barcroft community in Fairfax County. While police have not verified any of the attacks, they are advising people to take extra precaution to prevent coyotes from lurking near their homes.
