(Richmond)- Drivers will need to put their cell phones down in work zones if they want to avoid a ticket. Governor Northam has signed the new restriction into law, which means drivers could face a 250-dollar-fine if they’re caught holding a phone. Northam tried expanding the ban on the work zone bill to include all of Virginia’s roads earlier this month, but House Speaker Kirk Cox blocked it.
