(Richmond)- The state is using a twist on the tourism slogan, Virginia is for Lovers, to teach about education initiatives. Governor Northam announced a new marketing campaign yesterday called Virginia is for Learners. Education officials are planning to spread the word on recent reforms made to Virginia’s education system, including graduation requirements and accreditation ratings. Northam says a better education can empower people to make a better life.
