(Richmond)- The National Weather Service is upping the number of tornadoes that tore through Virginia last Friday. Initial numbers came in at eleven, but new damage surveyed yesterday revealed four additional twisters touched down in Newport News, York County, Gloucester County and Charles City County. That’s the 3rd most tornadoes to touch down in the Commonwealth in any one day. Only two injuries reported.
