(Charlottesville)- The University of Virginia is joining a list of other public schools that will freeze tuition next academic year for in-state students. The state has agreed to fund UVA over five-and-a-half-million-dollars to offset the freeze. This means that a nearly-three-percent tuition hike the Board of Visitors approved last December won’t be taking effect for in-state undergraduates.
