Virginia Pedestrian Deaths At All-Time High

(Richmond)- Pedestrian deaths are at an all-time high in Virginia. The DMV says 123 pedestrians died in accidents last year, and this year’s number could be even higher. Highway Safety Office Director John Saunders says people need to change behaviors behind the wheel and on the street. The number of pedestrian deaths last year is roughly 60-percent higher than a decade ago in Virginia.
