Loudoun)- A Virginia high schooler is the winner of the U.S. Women’s Chess Championship. Jennifer Yu, of Stone Bridge High in Ashburn, finished undefeated at the competition in Saint Louis last weekend to take home a 25-thousand-dollar prize. A teacher says Yu’s score was second in competition only to chess legend Bobby Fischer.
