UVA Raises Minimum Wage

(Charlottesville)- Minimum wage for employees at the University of Virginia is going up.  School president Jim Ryan sent out an email yesterday to advise minimum wage is moving from 12-75-per-hour to 15-dollars-an-hour.  The change is expected to cost the university around three-and-a-half-million-dollars.  The Daily Progress says it will affect 14-hundred employees.
