Poll Says Most VA Voters Want To Keep Northam And Herring, But They’re Split On Fairfax

(Hamden, CT)- A new poll says most Virginians are okay with Governor Northam and Attorney General Mark Herring staying in office.  A Quinnipiac University poll shows that only 42-percent of voters think Northam should resign, and 54-percent of voters think Herring should not resign.  They both faced backlash after admitting to wearing blackface in college.  Voters aren’t sure about what to do with Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax, who faces more than one sexual assault allegations.  Thirty-six-percent of voters want him to resign, 36-percent want him to stay, and 28-percent are undecided.
