(Orange)- A sex offender who recently moved to Orange County is facing child pornography charges. Deputies say they were contacted by The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children last month about suspicious traffic to a local IP address. Thirty-six-year-old Ryan Champlin was arrested for possession of child pornography and failure to register as a sex offender. Champlin had been convicted of sexual exploitation in Utah. He’s being held without bond and the investigation is ongoing.
