Fairfax Staffers Resign Following Assault Allegations

(Richmond)- Some staff members of Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax are resigning as he faces accusations of sexual assault. The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports that two of his government staffers and two workers from his political action committee left their jobs yesterday. Fairfax now faces sexual assault allegations made by two women. Their attorney is urging lawmakers to reject secret and delayed proceedings, and to move forward with hearings.
