(Richmond)- The push to take cell phones out of the hands of Virginia drivers is moving forward. Both the House of Delegates and state Senate passed separate bills yesterday with the same message. It will be against the law for drivers to hold a phone on the roads unless it’s an emergency. Current law only prohibits texting and reading emails.
