(Richmond)- A former Eastern Virginia Medical School yearbook staffer says Governor Ralph Northam likely knew about the racist photo. Northam denies knowing about a picture showing someone in blackface next to someone in a KKK hood on his 1984 yearbook page which that just surfaced. Doctor William Elmwood worked on the layout for that year’s yearbook and he says each student submitted their own pictures for their own page. Elmwood says anything’s possible, but it’s unlikely that someone else submitted the controversial picture.
