(Richmond)- Governor Northam is being criticied over a failed abortion bill. The “Repeal Act” would loosen restrictions on abortion at the very end of pregnancy when a woman goes into labor. Northam’s comments in a radio interview supporting the bill led to a backlash from Republicans, with Senator Marco Rubio saying the governor openly supported legal infanticide. Northam said that any insinuation that he approved of killing infants was disgusting.
