(Richmond)- Lawmakers are considering harsher punishments for violating the state’s Move Over Law.  Drivers who fail to move over for emergency vehicles on the side of the road will face a reckless driving charge under a proposal sponsored by Delegate Chris Peace.  The widow of a Hanover County firefighter who was killed on I-295 last year joined Peace in Richmond yesterday.  Current law calls for a traffic citation on first offense.
