(Richmond)- A Senate Committee is pushing ahead with efforts to raise the minimum wage in Virginia. The plan would push minimum wage to 15-dollars-per hour in the state by 2021. An initial increase to ten dollars would take place this summer. Republicans Tommy Norment and Frank Wagner voted with four Democrats to send the bill from the Commerce and Labor Committee to the Senate floor.
