Ambulance Driver Charged For Deadly Crash

(King George)- An ambulance driver in King George is facing charges for a crash that killed one person. In September, a Westmoreland County ambulance crashed into two cars and killed 64-year-old Rita Davis. Witnesses say the driver, William Watson, had ambulance lights on, but no siren. Yesterday he was indicted for involuntary manslaughter and reckless driving. There are reports that Watson had only been with the department for a month and shouldn’t have been driving by himself.
