(Richmond)- Governor Northam is pushing for campaign finance reform this legislative session. He said yesterday that his bill will prohibit corporations and businesses from contributing to campaigns, while also imposing a maximum 10-thousand-dollar donation from individuals. The Richmond Times-Dispatch is reporting that Northam said he’ll continue to accept corporate money until the law changes. He’ll also be introducing a proposal to rid Virginia’s requirement to show a photo ID before voting.
