(Charlottesville)- A federal judge is ordering officials to fix violations at the Fluvanna Women’s Correctional Center in Troy.  The facility has been accused of not complying with a settlement agreement from 2016 that required more adequate staffing and proper medical treatment.  An injunction was issued yesterday that requires senior officials to comply with those changes, in addition to providing the prison with basic emergency equipment and supplies.  The Legal Aid Justice Center says three women died at the center over the last two years due to improper care.
