(McLean)- The Claude Moore Colonial Farm in Virginia is closing after a years-long dispute with the National Park Service. The farm’s funding was being questioned as well as their relationships with private contractors. The National Park Service proposed an agreement earlier this year that would have given them more oversight over the farm including regular finance reporting. Claude Moore Colonial rejected the offer and now they have until tomorrow to cease all operations. Afterward, the organization will have one month to remove all of its buildings and property.
