Metro To Refund Customers Who Arrive To Destinations Late

(DC)- Metro is planning to refund customers who arrive ten minutes late to their destinations. The policy would apply to customers who are late during rush hour. About one million dollars has been refunded directly to smartrip cards this year. The Metro general manager said their service is improving and they can offer a tighter timeline for arrivals. The new policy will take effect at the beginning of next year.
