(Dinwiddie)- A Dinwiddie County man is guilty of dog fighting. Last year, 44-year-old Eldridge Freeman Junior was arrested when police found a blood smeared dog fighting pit and dozens of dogs on his property. They seized 26 dogs that prosecutors say were scarred and abused. Yesterday Freeman was convicted on 37 dog fighting and animal cruelty charges. He’s set to be sentenced at a later date.
