Justices Approve Model Policy For Cellphones In Court

(Richmond)-  The Virginia Supreme Court is becoming a bit more lenient on the use of electronic devices in courthouses across the state.  The justices approved a model policy last week which outlines the use of cellphones, computers and tablets.  The policy notes that a judge can allow phones in courtroom, but they must remain on silent.  Any kind of photography or video recording is prohibited under the guidelines unless authorized by a judge.
