(DC)- Virginia politicians are reacting to the passing of President George H.W. Bush. Senator Tim Kaine said President Bush was a model of dignity in public service. Kaine said whether as a combat pilot, signing the Americans with Disabilities Act or helping to bring the Cold War to a peaceful end, President Bush accomplished things with unparalleled humility. Kaine’s fellow Democrat Senator Mark Warner called Bush a class act and a person of tremendous strength and moral character.
