(Charlottesville)- The Dave Matthews Band is helping out public housing projects in Charlottesville in a big way. Some of the proceeds from two December shows at the Paul Jones Arena will go towards affordable housing initiatives to assist low-income, elderly and disabled residents. A total of five-million-dollars is expected to be donated by Dave Matthews and Red Light Management. The band got its start in Charlottesville almost 30 years ago.
